Laying Dad to Rest By Farley
Laying Dad to Rest
By Farley
Today is my fathers funeral, and we shall lay him to rest in St. Louis, Missouri. I have completed all the funeral arrangements.
It seems I only cry when I sing a song I wrote for him just before he died for fathers day. I cried a lot last week when he lay suffering in bed. My father cheated death so many times in his life that I was starting to think he was a cat. Still, his lives ran out and it was finally his time. Death is a reality that few of us want to face much less saying good bye forever to a father. My dad lived a full life, completed much, accomplished all his goals, and had a great time doing it. He was a loving, caring, generous, amazing person and he shall be missed. He was hard on me, but when I remember him, it makes me understand my strength. I was always sensitive concerning so many issues in life, but his training allowed me to grin and bear most challenges I have faced.
He was always my rock to lean on and the explananation for any phenomena that happened in the World.
As he lay dying, semi conscious it seemed as though he was trying to climb out of a hole, and after several attempts, he would just fold his hands and put them on his head as if to say, "Oh well."
I'm not sure what the repeated attempts maybe 100 in 2 days of him 'trying to climb' out means, but as my life passes perhaps it will become clear. I am thinking that because he was in so much pain, and that he knew his quality of life was gone, that he had experienced enough, and wanted out, hence the 'climbing out,' gestures over and over in the hospital.
My dad had a sense of humor that was bar none. No one in my life was funnier with wit and humor as Fred. No matter what happened, or how he treated you, no matter how you felt, the sarcasm always reigned to get a belly laugh at the end. He helped so many people in his life and taught so many of his friends relatives and co workers that his influence is huge. The World will be a different place today after 1pm, CDT, when he is laid to rest as the World will have to continue without Dad.
All my life I thought I would be ready for this moment when he would pass, but nothing can prepare you for the passage of a parent.
His song remains:
"Dad of Mine, Dad of Mine, Climb any mountain he could find, then one day he came my way so he could shine, so he could shine. His name was Fred, his wife named Bea, son named Farley, Daughter Melanie; then one day he came my way, so he could shine, so he could shine. Dad of Mine, Dad of Mine, climbed any mountain he could find, then one day he came my way, so he could shine, so he could shine...."
Rest in Peace Dad...

Thank you all for your support and sympathy. My Father Fred passed peacefully tonight...and now is with God.
I and my family are relieved he did not suffer, and that he went into the light.
Please do not offer me sympathy but rejoice in the ascension of my Father's Spirit. He will be buried on Father's Day which is perfect.
My father was an ICON in so many ways, but he is my best friend and role model. He is the best father any man could ever want.
Bless you all for reading my journal.
Life is good, but life is just a dream, when it's all said and done..

Copy of a Myspace Bulletin I posted to my Friends, about Dad, and For you! BY Farley Malorrus
My Dad, Fred Malorrus, My best Bud all my life (with my Mom also) and he is lingering.unconscious..semi comatose.(I don't wish your sympathy but appreciate your prayers at this time).....This is an amazing time of challenge and patience for me.
BY Farley Malorrus www.radioastrology.com
Because SO MANY have died in our family over the years, I took it rather hard. Dad said the same Mantra each time, "LIFE GOES ON, FARLEY!"
I keep thinking of him saying that like he's out of his body helping me and the family, while he lay helpless, and perhaps dying...
Dad has been unconscious for a week now, and quite helpless.
He's mostly semi comatose or comatose. I prefer that, so he doesn't feel the pain.
If they don't sedate him, being 91 and having your body fall apart can hurt bad.
Like I said before, it's a tough time for me.
I don't need any sympathy, as I want my dad to be born into the light and leave this prison..
Earth can be heaven, but sometimes it can be pure HELL when you die.
My dad is such a great man, and he is such a riot.
He is where I got my bubbly personality and mettle.
Well, I'm in a zone, numb, and prepared for whatever happens.
My friend Mike has his father in law nearly dead the last 2 weeks, and he miraculously popped up and is ok now.
Very unusual...and the result of intense prayer by so many.
I love my dad, and want him to live, but not if his quality of life is less than zero.
I feel your prayers, and love for me.
The one thing I love about Myspace is that it's a family from your friends, if you choose correctly, and SO STRONG when in need.
My life is in another dimension and I feel like I'm on a hallucinogenic. Not sure what the week will bring, but the family is ready to dive to St. Louis, Mo., should dad pass, as that is where the family is laid to rest.
So many of you have been so loving towards me.
I do appreciate it.
I can't answer all the emails from so many wonderful people, hence why I BELIEVE we have the bulletin feature; to tell them all.
Well, I'll try to keep you posted, but should he pass, you may sense it, as the weight of the World falls on me.
Love you all for your prayers, and although I'm a bit drained, I know how to recharge.
Take Care all.
LOVE, YOUR BUD.

Moon Wobble Ends Friday, Thank God...By Farley Malorrus
The Moon Wobble will end on Friday, ending one of the toughest 28 day cycles I can remember. AS Presidential Candidates supported by Corporate America Slug it out, where is the real Democracy gone? There used to be a time when candidates represented people, not business. Things change along with the World. The corporations buy our votes with huge donations, then own the candidates with secret deposits in Swiss Bank accounts, and we wonder why there is no justice or freedom left. What is funny, is that people actually think they have a choice when it comes to voting, but in truth the Corporations who 'own' America 'buy' the candidates with donations and secret gifts, leaving us with no real representation in a World gone mad. I saw one candidate, Chris Dodd I believe who said the 1st thing he would do would be to 'restore constitutional rights,' if elected President. That was the first REAL COMMENT I heard besides Dennis Kucinich who doesn't seem to be interested in corporations or their impact.
Sadly, as we end the current wobble, Americans have little choice save the candidates that are owned and promoted by vested interests in this country. You can hardly be put before the American people, unless you have millions in your coffer to do it.
We need a new way to elect a President, maybe Internet voting only, and no advertising or donations, period.
Also, candidates need to be made accountable for how much money corporations give them to 'own' them.
A black Hawk Helicopter costs millions and millions to make, so maybe like the Viet Nam War this most unpopular Iraq War may again be about helicopters.
So sad, that the leadership in this country, can't tweak the Presidency, (or impeach Bush/Cheney) for misappropriation of funds, lives, and freedom.
Well, I'm almost in Los Angeles to visit my sick dad, Fred, and your prayers are appreciated.
Maybe things will get betterafter Friday.

God Is always at your Side, By Farley Malorrus (Course IN Miracles)
GOD IS ALWAYS AT YOUR SIDE
BY FARLEY MALORRUS
ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, FARLEY MALORRUS 2007
(You may copy and paste this entire Poem as long as you include the rights to ownership, thank you!)
God is always at your side.
God is never far.
God is always watching you.
God is like a star.
God is listening when you talk.
God can hear your prayers.
God is helping you to walk.
God can calm your fears.
When you need a helping hand.
Ask God anytime.
God will help you when you need subtle and sublime
God is obvious to me.
That's the secret I can see.
God is everywhere you know.
God can make your spirit glow.
All you need to do is ask.
Pray for all you need.
Shed your ego very fast.
Then be up to speed.
God loves you and loves me too.
God is obvious.
God is alway at your side, even during Christmas.
You can access this great light.
Any given day.
You can access God at night and feel the light of day.
For God is all that we really have.
No fear necessary.
God loves you and all you are,
like a magic fairy.
God is everywhere you know.
Just ask for an answer.
God will tell you what to do, even if you're a dancer.
SO take this little tip from me,
and never be depressed.
God loves you and so do I and I am so impressed.
Feel the Love that God has now.
For you and for me.
God is love for everyone and now you know the key.
Just ask God for help and then listen for an answer.
God will tell you what to do like a tiny dancer.
Just stay sober for a while so you can hear the truth.
God will guide you everyday so you aren't uncouth.
SO love the World and let them know that God loves everyone.
Now, live your life and have a ball, God wants you to have some fun!
WITH LOVE
